Welcome to the Purple Sage online shop where you can purchase a wide range of herbal products. I would be grateful if you would take the time to read the following before entering the shop. If there is anything that you do not understand, email me at woldfarm@aol.com. Please do not order anything that is not listed in the shop catalogue - if it's not there I don't stock it. New products will be added from time to time, and I am happy for you to email me with your suggestions.
Please note that under current law I am unable to make specific recommendations for particular medical conditions without a one to one consultation. The herb monographs on this website are there to help you but, if you are still unsure, please get in touch with a qualified herbalist (click on 'Home' page above)
THE ONLINE SHOPPING BASKET IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TO UK ADDRESSES ONLY. This is because it is way too complicated for me to calculate multiple shipping rates for different overseas destinations. Therefore, any Non-UK customers submitting an order using the on-line shopping basket will have their money refunded, MINUS any transaction charges incurred by me. You may still order products from the site, but you must follow the instructions below.
UK customers: Simply browse the various departments listed at the top of the page and, when you see something you would like to buy, add it to your shopping basket When you're done, proceed to the secure checkout area where you can make any necessary amendments to your order before supplying your credit/debit card details to make payment. If you would rather pay by cheque or postal order, (sterling only) please print out and complete the ORDER FORM, then post it to me with your payment (the address is on the order form). If you are ordering dried herbs, please list quantity in grams (g); if ordering tinctures use millilitres (mls). There is also a DOWNLOADABLE CATALOGUE, prices valid until 1st June 2009, for you to print out or save to your hard disk.
Non-UK customers: you MUST complete the downloadable ORDER FORM and email it to me at woldfarm@aol.com . If you are ordering dried herbs, please list quantity in grams (g); if ordering tinctures use millilitres (mls). I will then email an invoice to you detailing goods ordered plus shipping charges to your country, with instructions on how to pay online with your credit or debit card. Please note that many countries have restrictions regarding the importing of plant materials. It is YOUR responsibility to check up on what is and is not allowed. I will not be held liable for items confiscated by customs.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES
UK customers - there is a tiered shipping and handling charge depending on the size of your order. This will be clearly displayed in your 'shopping basket'. Goods will be sent by Second Class post or Royal Mail Parcel Force.

Overseas customers: orders will be sent by Airmail at cost, plus a small handling charge. Please email your order to me so that I can inform you of shipping & handling costs before you decide whether or not to proceed with your order.
DELIVERY
Orders are posted on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Please allow up to 7 days for your order to reach you in the UK, 14 days for overseas orders. If you include your email address with your order I can quickly inform you of any likely delay or stock shortages.
ONLINE CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: Is PayPal safe to use?
The PayPal Shopping Cart system protects your financial information with industry-leading security and
fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is
not shared with the merchant (i.e. Purple Sage Botanicals). Once your payment
is complete, Paypal will send you an email receipt for your transaction.
In the event of a query about your order, always quote your name and the receipt/transaction number so
that we can quickly locate your order.
RETURNED GOODS
If there is a problem with your order, please email me with the details as soon as possible so that we can sort it out. Because of the nature of these products, refunds / replacements will normally only be issued if goods are found to be damaged on receipt or if the wrong items have been sent - this applies particularly to tamper-proof bottles that you have opened. In the case of breakage or damage, please retain all packaging materials in case they need to be returned to me to facilitate any claim for compensation from the Post Office. You will be reimbursed for any additional expenditure incurred.
